Cal Poly's own Jamie Hastings, dropping bow

Cal Poly's own Jamie Hastings, dropping 'bow and turning two ball.

The collegiate water ski scene is a fun, competitive environment where student athletes come from all over to spend time together in the sun and on the water.  This blog will be an ongoing project for my elective web-journalism course at Cal Poly and will follow the local Cal Poly Water Ski Team to collegiate ski tournaments all over the west coast.  Each post will adhere to certain guidelines outlined in my particular assignments, but nonetheless, I will do my best to fill you in on all the action you can’t simply find in the post-tournament scorebooks.  For an in-depth rundown of three-event water skiing, check out the National Collegiate Water Ski Association and its governing body, USA Water Ski.

    Colin,

I like the new blog! And the new look too! A good synopsis of the Regional Tourney. Keep up the great work!

    Cheers!
